Program:
Saturday
5:45 – Meeting in the AB lobby of dormitories in Ostrava – Poruba and departure by a bus
9:00 – Arrival to the Lednice Chateau: walk in the beautiful Lednice park, boat sail to the minaret and its visitation, visitation of the chateau greenhouse. You can buy a snack or lunch there.
15:00 – Departure from Lednice
16:00 – Arrival to the Hotel Palacký in Brno, check in
17:00 – Sightseeing tour in Brno with the local ESN guide
21:00 – Dinner in a restaurant in Brno (you can choose from 2 dishes), beer and fun
Sunday
9:00 – Breakfast in the hotel
10:00 – Check out, buying of a snack for the rest of the day
11:00 – Departure from Brno
12:00 – Arrival to Punkevní Caves: guided tour in the caves including a sail on the Punkva River underground, walk in a beautiful nature full of caves and rocks.
17:30 – Departure from the Punkevní Caves
20:00 – Arrival back to the dormitories in Ostrava - Poruba
Fee:
1100 CZK with ESNcard or 1200 CZK without ESNcard
The fee covers:
• Transportation by bus during the whole trip
• Ticket for public transport in Brno
• Accommodation in the hotel with breakfast
• Common dinner in Brno (without drinks)
• All the entrance fees (chateau park, boat sail, minaret and greenhouse in Lednice, Punkevní Caves)
As you can see, the trip is extremely cheap because it is strongly subsidized by our university. You just need some additional money for food.
If you want to join us, please REGISTER using the form below and PAY the fee in the ESN office (dormitory, building A, 8th floor) during office hours (Mo, We: 5 – 6 pm). The DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT is 10.4.2019 because we need to book the hotel, the restaurant and so on.
